Marymount Manhattan College in New York City has agreed to pursue a merger with Northeastern University, pending state and federal approvals. The merger would combine MMC's liberal arts programs with Northeastern's Global Experimental Learning Network, with the resulting institution to be named Northeastern University-New York City.
