A massive fire broke out at the Aricell lithium battery factory in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, resulting in at least 22 deaths including 18 Chinese nationals, 1 Laotian, and 2 South Koreans. One worker remains missing out of the 67 who were present during the fire. The fire started on the second floor where 35,000 lithium batteries were stored, potentially causing a chain reaction of explosions. Firefighters are facing challenges in extinguishing the fire and have discovered multiple casualties within the factory.
