A fire broke out in an outdoor space at a factory in Pingtung Industrial Zone, causing a large amount of waste to catch fire. 22 fire trucks and 42 personnel were dispatched to the scene for firefighting. The situation is currently under control with no casualties reported. The cause of the fire and extent of the damage are still under investigation.
