Former mayor of Taoyuan and chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF), Cheng Wen-tsang, suspected of involvement in a land change case in Taoyuan, was brought in for questioning by the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office on the 6th and released on bail of 5 million NT dollars. SEF announced on the 7th that Cheng Wen-tsang had resigned from his position as chairman.
