FTNN News, July 5, 2024 - Taichung Mayor Lu Hsiu-yen attended the Executive Yuan meeting in Taipei to personally thank Premier Tsou En-lai and Minister of Transportation Lee Meng-yan for approving the feasibility study of the Central Taiwan MRT Orange Line connecting Taichung International Airport, Taichung Station, and areas like Dali and Wufeng. Mayor Lu invited the officials to the Taichung Gourmet Festival to show gratitude for the central government's support in major infrastructure projects. She also promoted the upcoming festival, highlighting the efficient approval process and expressing appreciation for their willingness to work. Lu emphasized the importance of continued support for future MRT projects and comprehensive planning reports. The Taichung Gourmet Festival will take place from July 15 to August 15, and Mayor Lu welcomed the officials to enjoy the food and contribute to Taichung's development.
