In Yingge District, New Taipei City, a McDonald’s suffered a brick collapse incident, causing scooters parked outside to be crushed by falling debris. The incident was attributed to an outdated wall of a residence on the third floor above the fast-food chain, which unexpectedly collapsed due to recent storms, resulting in a 'brick rain' that damaged parked scooters and lightly injured a passerby named Lin. Emergency services managed the chaotic scene and promptly secured the area for cleanup.
