In an effort to boost sales and attract diners, McDonald's is set to launch its new national value menu, McValue, on January 7, 2025. This initiative comes after a challenging year marked by a stock slump and declining sales due to an E. coli outbreak. The McValue menu features affordable meal deals, including a $5 meal option and a buy one, add one for $1 deal, alongside local offers and in-app exclusives. McDonald's aims to reclaim its market position by leveraging this new value platform, which is the first of its kind since 2018.
