A U.S. judge dismissed Jay Alix's lawsuit against McKinsey & Co, accusing the consulting giant of misleading bankruptcy courts about conflicts of interest. The judge ruled that Alix lacked standing to sue under the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, stating that AlixPartners did not assign him that right. The decision follows years of litigation between Alix and McKinsey, with Alix accusing McKinsey of running a criminal enterprise, which McKinsey has denied. McKinsey welcomed the dismissal, while Alix's lawyer plans to appeal the decision.
