Megan Gaffney appointed as Director of Rugby at Heriot's

Former Scotland international Megan Gaffney, known for her experience in rugby sevens and XVs including the 2021 Rugby World Cup, has been named the new director of rugby for Heriot's women's team. Gaffney aims to develop the women's rugby program at Heriot's and create pathways for future players, while drawing on her national squad experience to inspire the next generation and advance the women's game. Gaffney, currently recovering from shoulder surgery, has also been involved in various opportunities, including representing Scotland at the inaugural British and Irish Lions women's tour launch.
