Mercedes-Benz plans to decrease its mid-term profitability targets for its passenger car division due to ongoing market challenges and the transition to electric vehicles. The company's management, led by CEO Ola Kaellenius, is set to revise the targets established in 2022 before a capital markets day on February 20. The automaker targets a double-digit profitability margin, a decline from earlier projections of up to 14% during favorable conditions.
