Meta Platforms is reportedly developing a mixed reality device codenamed 'Puffin,' aimed at providing a lighter alternative to their existing headsets. This new product, which is still in early development stages and projected for release in 2027, will merge augmented and virtual reality, allowing users to interact with both digital and real-world elements without the need for handheld controllers, instead utilizing hand gestures and eye movements.
