This surge in young adult engagement reflects Meta's efforts to revitalize the platform's appeal to a younger audience amidst competition from TikTok. Meta noted significant growth in app usage among young adults over the past five quarters, driven by sections like Marketplace, Groups, and Dating. Despite a decline in teen usage, Facebook continues to maintain a relatively stable user base among all U.S. adults.
