A federal judge has ruled that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is not personally liable in 25 lawsuits claiming that the company has contributed to social media addiction among children. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers found insufficient evidence linking Zuckerberg directly to allegations of concealment of the mental health risks associated with Facebook and Instagram usage. While the lawsuits will continue against Meta, this decision highlights the difficulty in holding individual executives responsible for corporate actions.
