Meta Platforms secured an emergency arbitration ruling to stop the promotion of 'Careless People,' a tell-all book by former employee Sarah Wynn-Williams, which portrays the company's executives in a negative light. The ruling was made after determining that Meta would face immediate harm without such relief, despite the publisher Macmillan arguing they were not bound by arbitration agreements. Meta's representative stated the ruling confirms that the book should not have been published.
