The Wuri Police Substation swiftly formed a special team to investigate the incident and identified a suspect named Chen within 12 hours through reviewing over 50 sets of traffic and private surveillance footage. The individual allegedly committed acts of vandalism at night and has been sent to the Taichung District Prosecutors Office for further investigation on charges of criminal damage under the Criminal Code.
