Mets top prospect Jett Williams underwent a successful wrist surgery for a TFCC debridement procedure, with a typical recovery time of 8-10 weeks. The 20-year-old shortstop is expected to be back on the field in early- to mid-August after sustaining a wrist injury while playing for Double-A Binghamton. Williams expressed gratitude to his family, friends, and fans, and remains optimistic about returning soon. Following a standout season in 2023, he is hitting .179 in 11 games this season with the Rumble Ponies.
