Many middle-aged and elderly people with remaining workforce potential are facing challenges in finding jobs, with retired public servants being rejected by employers for their age, and former factory workers being turned down during interviews and ending up as homeless people in parks. Scholars suggest that the local government's promotion of employment platforms for the silver-haired workforce should be improved by collaborating with community centers and simplifying the application and matching process. Efforts to integrate traditional methods of promotion, such as involving neighborhood leaders and community associations, are also advised.
