A 30-year-old woman surnamed Li from Nantou County in Taiwan sought revenge in October 2023 against a seafood store run by a man surnamed Xu, whom she accused of bullying her in middle school. Despite Xu denying any knowledge of her, Li physically assaulted him, causing head injuries. Xu pressed charges, but Li refused to apologize or reconcile, resulting in a 50-day jail sentence for her for assault and intimidation. The court deemed Li's actions unjustifiable, given her previous criminal record and lack of remorse or willingness to settle the conflict peacefully.
