Los Angeles Angels' infielder Miguel Sanó, who has been out since April due to left knee inflammation, suffered a setback in his rehab after burning his knee with a heating pad by leaving it on too long without padding. This blunder may delay his recovery timeline by a couple of days. Despite the embarrassing injury, Sanó had signed a minor league deal with the Angels in spring training after missing the 2023 season due to knee and tibia issues. The Angels are currently struggling with a 20-33 record and are last in the AL West.
