After 23 years, Mingdao University is officially leaving on July 31 and held its final graduation ceremony on the evening of the 22nd, bidding farewell to 325 last graduates. A 6 minutes and 22 seconds fireworks display was launched, along with a dinner for a thousand guests. Despite budget constraints, alumni associations and student unions used leftover funds for the last night. Mingdao University was designated a special assistance school in 2022 due to financial issues, and as its improvement period ended and failed to improve, the Ministry of Education ordered a halt to admissions, leading to its official exit on July 31 this year.
