According to historical records, during the Ming Dynasty, a high official named Fang Xiaoru was ordered to be executed along with ten lineages for refusing to write an imperial edict for Ming Chengzu Zhu Di. This event led to the execution of over 800 people, including relatives, friends, and students, making it the only instance of 'ten lineage execution' in Chinese history. Fang Xiaoru, known for his scholarship, was loyal to Emperor Jianwen, but his refusal to cooperate with Zhu Di led to this tragic outcome.
