Guo has begun to identify urgent areas prone to power outages, labeling them as red zones. The goal is to swiftly repair and replace old equipment in these high-risk areas before incidents occur, with a target of completing equipment updates within four years. Guo highlighted the issue of aging national power equipment and the challenges posed by increased electricity demand in certain regions due to population growth, necessitating the expansion of electrical infrastructure.
