A Minnesota father, Michael Lee Laflex, was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the premeditated killing of his daughter's allegedly abusive boyfriend, Bryce Brogle. Laflex told witnesses he had 'already dug a hole' for the man's grave. Laflex was found guilty of first-degree premeditated murder and second-degree murder after Brogle went missing in October 2022. Laflex cleaned up the crime scene at a storage unit using bleach and disposed of the body, which was later discovered with a gunshot wound to the back of the head at a possible gravesite.
