A Mirror News survey revealed that in terms of trust among 7 political figures, Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-Mai scored 36.2% trust, Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen had 20.2%, and Kuomintang Chairman Eric Chu only had 1.4%, ranking lowest. The survey also looked into trust towards party leaders and revealed that Chen Chi-Mai was most trusted at 36.2%, followed by Lu Shiow-yen at 20.2%, and People First Party Chairman Ko Wen-je at 11.6%. The survey was conducted by Mirror News and DigiTimes Research Company among residents aged 20 and above in the Taiwan region from June 16 to June 17.
