Following the release of the DLC 'Shadows Die Twice' for 'Elden Ring' last week, numerous game streams and guides have emerged, making it a viral topic once again. While the media rating on Metacritic reached an impressive 95 points, surpassing 'The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine,' becoming the highest-rated DLC in history, player opinions are divided mainly on game difficulty. Some find the DLC too challenging with bosses defeating players instantly, while others argue that the high difficulty aims to recreate the intense fear and excitement of starting the game, suggesting it is a matter of personal skill. Producer Hidetaka Miyazaki stated that reducing difficulty would compromise the game's fun, leaving players to decide if this fun might turn into a nightmare.
