The MLBPA has accused Rimas Sports, co-founded by Bad Bunny, of committing serious violations by offering improper incentives to baseball players in order to attract them as clients. This included providing a $200,000 interest-free loan and VIP tickets to Bad Bunny shows as well as access to a luxury suite at a Phoenix Suns game. The MLBPA revoked the certification of an agent from the agency in April and barred two co-founders from representing MLBPA members, with arguments from Rimas claiming unfair scrutiny and potential business consequences.
