Starting today, the Ministry of the Interior expands the trial of in-person application services for mobile natural person certificates, allowing citizens to bring mobile devices to 24 household registration offices nationwide for in-person application. The application fee is only NT$30, and individuals can enjoy real-time e-identity verification, digital signatures, and encryption/decryption services without needing to carry a physical card. The Ministry plans to implement in-person application services for mobile natural person certificates in all household registration offices nationwide by November 25, striving for a convenient experience of 'digital identity on the go, a helpful tool for digital living'.
