Mondo Duplantis competed in a Diamond League meet in Stockholm and tried to clear 20 feet, 6 inches to set a new pole vault world record but missed all three attempts. Despite this, the 24-year-old athlete has been dominating the sport, winning more than 60 victories since 2020, and aims to repeat as Olympic pole vault gold medalist in Paris this summer. Other notable performances from the event include world champion Femke Bol winning the 400m hurdles and world champion Shericka Jackson taking the 200m title.
