Montenegro has extradited South Korean cryptocurrency mogul Do Kwon, founder of Terraform Labs, to the United States, following a U.S. request and rejecting a request from South Korea. Kwon was handed over to FBI agents at Podgorica Airport after a lengthy legal process, during which he had previously been arrested for using a fake passport. He faces fraud charges related to the $40 billion crash of Terraform's cryptocurrencies, which significantly impacted retail investors globally.
