A Reuters survey conducted by Nikkei Research revealed that nearly a quarter of Japanese companies have adopted artificial intelligence (AI), while over 40% have no plans to use the technology. Out of 506 companies surveyed, about 24% have already implemented AI, with 35% planning to do so. The survey also highlighted various reasons for adopting AI, including coping with labor shortages and cutting costs. Additionally, it noted obstacles such as concerns over job cuts, lack of expertise, and cybersecurity issues faced by some respondents.
