Motel 6 is being sold to Indian hotel operator Oyo, part of an all-cash deal worth $525 million, which also includes the Studio 6 brand. The transaction, announced by G6 Hospitality's parent company Blackstone, is set to close by year-end. Oyo, which currently operates 320 hotels in the U.S., aims to enhance its international presence through this acquisition, marking a significant milestone for the company.
