A mother of a junior high school student in southern Taiwan, dissatisfied with the class teacher's strict attitude, repeatedly used insulting language in her son's student contact book, resulting in a 30,000 NT dollars fine. The teacher felt that the remarks severely damaged her social reputation and mental health, leading to a lawsuit requesting 200,000 NT dollars in compensation. The court ruled the mother to pay 30,000 NT dollars, stating that her remarks constituted an invasion of reputation rights. The case can still be appealed.
