On July 1st, a 44-year-old man surnamed Pan riding a motorcycle in Xizhi district collided with another motorcycle preparing to make a left turn at the intersection of Datong Road and Zhongxing Road. Both drivers were critically injured and hospitalized, with Pan remaining in the ICU for observation. Police investigations revealed that the collision was caused by the other rider illegally running a red light and turning left.
