On June 19, 2024, at 6:32 AM, a motorcycle driver was hit by a vehicle while making a sharp left turn in Zhongzheng District, Taipei. The motorcycle collided with a sedan in the inner lane and then hit a taxi in the opposite lane. All three drivers tested negative for alcohol. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by the authorities. The police urge drivers to follow road signs, markings, and signals, especially when making left turns, to ensure the safety of all road users.
