A car owner in Taoyuan discovered that his license plate had been stolen, resulting in him receiving 5 traffic tickets, including one for severe speeding which incurred 6 demerit points. The police discovered the stolen plate on a motorcycle and found out that the rider, who had previously lost his license for speeding, had resorted to using a fake plate. The incident serves as a reminder to be cautious about such frauds.
