Due to the effects of climate change thinning the snow and ice on Everest, the remains of hundreds of mountaineers who died on the mountain are increasingly becoming visible. Teams are risking their lives to retrieve frozen bodies as part of Nepal's mountain clean-up campaign, facing the dangerous challenges of the high-altitude 'death zone'. The retrieval efforts aim to prevent Everest from becoming a graveyard, with bodies being brought down from the peaks to properly handle and identify them.
