According to the Central Weather Bureau, the chances of localized heavy rain occurring in the central and northern parts, as well as mountainous areas throughout Taiwan, are quite high today and tomorrow. The weather this week remains muggy and hot, with afternoon thunderstorms expected in various regions. The high temperature warnings have been issued for 10 counties and cities including Taipei City, New Taipei City, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Chiayi County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, and Hualien County, with temperatures possibly reaching 36 degrees Celsius.
