The Central Weather Bureau issued heavy rain alerts for Miaoli County and Taichung City, and rain alerts for Keelung City, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, Tainan City, and Kaohsiung City, due to strong convective cloud system development. Additionally, extreme heat warnings were issued with Pingtung County's Chunri Township recording a high temperature of 38°C, with other areas like Qishan District in Kaohsiung reaching 37.5°C, Sizih in Shilin District, Taipei hitting 37.3°C, and Yujing District in Tainan City peaking at 37.2°C.
