A traffic light in Renwu, Kaohsiung suddenly caught fire, engulfing the entire signal box and causing parts to melt and fall like 'fire rain'. The cause of the fire remains unknown. The fire department quickly responded and extinguished the flames, fortunately without any injuries. Taiwan Power Company attributed the fire to a malfunction in the traffic signal equipment, but the Public Works Bureau stated that further investigation is needed. The incident occurred on an important traffic route during rush hour, creating a frightening scene for passersby.
