On June 11, 2024, in the afternoon, three individuals were found dead in a Kaohsiung hotel room, identified as one male and two females. The police, who initially ruled out external intervention, continue to investigate the exact cause of death. The male victim was revealed to be a popular chef with thousands of followers on social media, known for sharing cooking techniques and having appeared on food programs. The three deceased individuals, who hailed from northern and central Taiwan, had reportedly arranged to meet at the hotel on the day before the Dragon Boat Festival and were expected to check out on June 11. However, when they did not emerge, hotel staff contacted the authorities, leading to the discovery of their bodies in the room.
