Senior reporter Li Jin-qi, June 19, 2024, 12:54 AM - Nanshan Life Insurance, with substantial funds, reveals its investment strategy, focusing on real estate as an asset allocation tool due to different asset cycles. Chairman Yen Chung-yao mentioned plans to build the 'Nanshan A21 Green Enclave Tower' on the former site of the World Trade Center 3 in Taipei’s Xinyi District by 2027, providing a significant base with nearly 90,000 ping of Grade A office space for rent. Yen emphasized the potential for international enterprises to network in high-end Grade A offices, expressing high expectations for commercial real estate despite short-term challenges. Nanshan Life Insurance's CFO Tsai Sheng-feng added that the company, with assets of NT$5.4 trillion at the end of last year, mainly invests in bonds, accounting for 70%, around NT$3.7 trillion, with nearly NT$100 billion to be reinvested over the next three years.
