Due to the early high temperatures caused by global climate change, snakes have been more active than usual, reaching a peak in snake activity in June. From the year 113 to the 25th of this month, Nantou County Fire Department has handled 1093 snake capture cases, with around 10 snakes captured on the 25th alone. Snakes have been found in various places such as a car garage in Puli Town and a construction site in Caotun Town, but fortunately, no casualties have been reported. The Fire Department advises maintaining a clean environment and keeping homes clutter-free and well-lit to prevent snakes from entering residences.
