Michael McDowell secured the pole position for the NASCAR Cup race at World Wide Technology Raceway with a record-setting performance, setting a new track record in the process. The Front Row Motorsports driver earned his third pole position of the season, followed by Team Penske's Austin Cindric and Ryan Blaney in the starting lineup.
