The Central Weather Bureau issued a heavy rain warning for 10 counties and cities, including Taipei City, New Taipei City, and mountainous areas in Taoyuan City. The warning is in effect from the afternoon to evening of June 21. Specifically for New Taipei City, an immediate thunderstorm warning was issued, with Shindian and Wulai districts on alert for mountainous rain-related disasters. The public is advised to be cautious of lightning, strong gusts, landslides, and rockfall.
