On June 15, 2024, the National Army Kaohsiung General Hospital organized a mountain cleaning hiking event to demonstrate the concept of forest conservation through practical actions. Nearly a hundred hospital staff and family members led by the deputy director of the hospital, Colonel Chen, went to Guanyin Mountain in Kaohsiung City to pick up trash along the Yancheng Lane Industrial Trail, maintaining the cleanliness of the mountain environment. The hospital not only promotes environmentally friendly activities but also implements energy-saving and carbon reduction measures internally to achieve the goals of low-carbon by 2030 and zero-carbon by 2050.
