National Highway Police Issue Ticket for Driving at 48 km/h in Snow Tunnel: Can't Get Away with It

In the early morning of June 13, 2024, Shen Guanxun drove a car at a speed of 48 km/h in a snow tunnel, where the minimum speed limit is 70 km/h, and was fined by the National Highway Police. The police emphasized on Facebook that slow-moving vehicles should not occupy the inner lane, as it causes congestion and inconvenience to other drivers. The penalty for driving below the minimum speed limit can range from NT$3,000 to NT$6,000 according to traffic regulations.
