National Property Agency Releases State-owned Housing for Rent, with Rent for a Unit in Taipei Exceeding NT$30,000

The National Property Agency has introduced a scheme to rent out state-owned houses, with 27 units successfully rented to private individuals. Among the 75 state-owned homes that have been renovated and made available for rent, 27 units have been rented out to private individuals at market prices, with 3-bedroom units in Taipei fetching over NT$30,000 in rent. The agency has announced the release of 36 units for rent in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, and Taitung, emphasizing the aim to diversify housing supply. Bidders are reminded to ensure their membership certificates are valid to avoid invalid bids, as the agency aims to generate rental income for the national treasury while meeting the housing needs of the public.
