Marine Le Pen's National Rally is working towards securing an absolute majority in France's legislative election while rival parties, including President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist group and the New Popular Front alliance, are strategically withdrawing candidates to prevent the far-right party from gaining power. Le Pen's party seeks allies to form a coalition in order to implement policy changes, such as reversing pension reforms and cutting certain aid for foreigners, as voters face a choice between Macron's pro-business stance and Le Pen's anti-EU agenda in the final round of voting this Sunday.
