The U.S. News & World Report recently released the 2024-2025 global best university rankings, including 2250 top universities from 104 countries, with a total of 40 schools in Taiwan making the list. Chaoyang University of Technology entered the list for the first time, ranking as the top private university in Taiwan and the only private university in the field of Engineering. National Taiwan Normal University excelled in the field of Education and Educational Research, ranking 7th globally in that category. The rankings focus on academic research performance and reputation, providing a reference for global students in school selection. NTNU's citation impact and number of highly cited papers placed it in top global positions, showcasing Taiwan's academic strength to the world.
