The National Security Bureau stated that the CCP has not conducted a large-scale information operation regarding the incident where a Chinese national drove a speedboat from Fujian to Taiwan, intruding into the Danshui River. The National Taiwan Office described the act as a personal behavior, asserting that the Democratic Progressive Party should not overreact. However, the National Security Bureau Director, Tsai Ming-yan, mentioned the presence of gray areas and some media in mainland China engaging in information operations. The incident raised concerns about national security loopholes and is under investigation.
